Her work with Public Strategies
Meredith Miller Marks is chief operating officer of Public Strategies. She supervises the company’s accounting, human services, legal, and recruitment activities, as well as its overall operations, helping to ensure that all functions of the company fulfill its mission and vision. 

Her earlier work
Before joining Public Strategies, Marks was an associate with the law firm of Brown, McCarroll, L.LP., where she practiced product liability defense litigation. She is a cum laude graduate of Tulane University Law School.

Marks serves on the Board of Trustees of St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin, and she works with the United Way. She is a former board member of the Austin Children’s Museum and the Austin Chamber of Commerce.

Marks is married to Alan E. Marks, who practices law in the Office of General Counsel for the University of Texas System. They have two children, Miller and Madeline.
